Younglabs handwriting check

Free handwriting score for DepEd and English-medium kids in the Philippines

One English homework page is enough. See the score before you pay for another workbook or a Saturday tutorial.

This may take up to 30 seconds. Your number is only asked if you want to download the report.

How it works

1. Photograph one page of writing on ruled paper.

2. We score six skills: letter formation, spacing, alignment, size, neatness, and legibility.

3. After the score, open the self-serve plan in local currency if you want to practise at home.

4. Download a JPEG with a number if you want a copy. Book a free class anytime — that is a different product.

Handwriting still counts in DepEd written work

English is the language of instruction for most academic subjects in the Philippines. DepEd written outputs, periodical tests, and performance tasks are marked by teachers who must read the child's letters at speed. International and science high schools in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao expect neat print; some still teach cursive in the middle grades. Either sample works for this score.

Parents often already buy extra handwriting workbooks or a Saturday tutorial. This page does not sell a live class with a teacher. It sells a self-serve plan in pesos so a family can start from a phone after homework, without matching an India timezone slot.

The six skills are formation, spacing, alignment, size, neatness, and legibility. Ages 5–13 cover Kinder print through Grade 7 exam speed. A low formation score usually means the child still copies letter shapes from memory instead of a stable stroke path. A low spacing score is common when Filipino-English code-switching makes word length unpredictable — the plan drills consistent gaps, not grammar.

Younglabs does not operate a tutorial centre in Quezon City or Cebu. Support WhatsApp is +91 92890 29696. Standing prices are in PHP on checkout. We do not claim DepEd accreditation.

12-session self-serve plan: ₱1,149₱569. Pay in PHP by card, or GCash if the checkout offers it.

Questions parents ask here

Can I pay with GCash or Maya?
Checkout is in PHP. Cards are the default. If GCash or Maya appears on the payment page, you can use it; otherwise use a card and write to us if it fails.
Is this a tutorial centre?
No. There is no physical branch. The child practises on a phone or tablet with the AI plan.
What device do we need?
Any phone that can photograph a notebook page. Practice works in the mobile browser after payment.
Will this help with Filipino or Mother Tongue writing?
The scorer is built for English letters. Use an English homework page, not a Filipino or Baybayin sample.
What time is practice?
Whenever you want. Asia/Manila. There is no live class on this page.

We also run live handwriting classes in India, the UAE, and other core markets. That is a different product: English handwriting course.
