Younglabs handwriting check
Made for Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu families who want a score before paying for extra tuition. One photo, six skills.
This may take up to 30 seconds. Your number is only asked if you want to download the report.
1. Photograph one page of writing on ruled paper.
2. We score six skills: letter formation, spacing, alignment, size, neatness, and legibility.
3. After the score, open the self-serve plan in local currency if you want to practise at home.
4. Download a JPEG with a number if you want a copy. Book a free class anytime — that is a different product.
Kenyan learners write English every day, whether they are on CBC (competency-based) tasks in primary or the older 8-4-4 exam papers that older siblings still sit. International schools in Nairobi and Mombasa mix British print with cursive. Examiners and class teachers deduct when they cannot read a sentence, even if the science or composition idea was right.
Extra handwriting tuition is common after school. This page does not sell that live class. It sells a self-serve plan priced in Kenyan shillings so a parent can start after prep, without booking a teacher who teaches in another time zone.
The score covers formation, spacing, alignment, size, neatness, and legibility for ages 5–13 — Grade 1 print through early secondary exam speed. Low alignment scores are common on locally ruled exercise books when the child writes above the line under time pressure. Low neatness often tracks fountain-pen or worn biro use on cheap paper; the plan still trains stroke control, not stationery.
Younglabs has no Nairobi office and no local teachers on this page. WhatsApp remains +91 92890 29696. Checkout is in KES. We do not claim KICD or Ministry approval.
12-session self-serve plan: KSh 2,599KSh 1,299. Pay in KES by card, or M-Pesa if the checkout offers it.

We also run live handwriting classes in India, the UAE, and other core markets. That is a different product: English handwriting course.
